Wild Pine Essential Oil

Description: This evergreen evergreen tree can grow up to 40 meters and has a smooth crown. The bark of the tree is reddish brown with deep fissures and grayish green pointed leaves that are born in pairs, yellow orange flowers and brown pointed cones. It is not as common as other pine trees and therefore becomes more expensive. The main chemical properties of wild pine oil are: Sylvestrene, Pinene, Bornyl acetate, Dipentene, Cardinene and Phellandrene.
 
History: It was used by Native Americans to prevent scurvy, and pine needles were used to fill mattresses and to repel fleas and lice. The Egyptians used pine cones in the kitchen.

Mixes well with: Citronella, Clary Sage, Coriander, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Lemon, Juniper, Lavender, Myrrh, Rosemary, Tea Tree.

Therapeutic Properties: Antiseptic, antibacterial, balsamic, deodorant, restorative, stimulant, antimicrobial, antirheumatic, antiviral, insecticide, rubefacient, vermifuge. It has a positive effect on the respiratory system, helps to open the lungs and helps with breathing. It also stimulates the circulatory system and strengthens the immune system.

Precautions: In excessive doses it can irritate the skin (in massage mixtures do not use more than 1%). Use with caution during pregnancy.
