Laura Tuan's book - Comments on the Brazilian edition by Emanuel J. Santos.
Madame Lenormand has left in many souls a very high reputation, and such a vivid reminder of her rare talent that we think we serve our admirers of her system by publishing the playing cards that were found with her after her death. This is the same deck by which she prophesied greatness to Emperor Napoleon and the fall to many nobles of his court. Already in her life her talents were recognized by thousands of gentlemen who often confessed that her method was true and accurate.
What makes this publication even more interesting is that the explanation of the letters is entirely in keeping with Madam Lenormand's, so that each one, without help or course, can know through them the mysteries of the future.
