REIKI


A technique created in Japan and which basically consists of the exchange of energy from touch and laying on of hands, Reiki is among the procedures that integrate the National Policy on Integrative and Complementary Practices (PICs) of the Unified Health System (SUS ).
It is a therapeutic resource based on traditional knowledge, aiming at harmonizing physical, mental and emotional health, thus increasing the patient's well-being.
Reiki was developed in 1922 by Buddhist monk Mikao Usui. Appointed as the father of Reiki and decoder of the therapeutic technique as it is currently applied, Usui believed that it was possible to manipulate an energy and control it through the imposition and movement of the therapist's hands.
In the Application, Reiki works by activating and restoring a person's vibrational energy, also known as the aura—where the energy bodies, the subtle layers of energy that surround the physical body, are located.
As the vibration of the Reiki energy is of a higher (subtle) frequency, dissonant energies tend to seek balance, that is, increasing the vibration, clearing and reactivating our energy centers, meridians and energy patterns.
In this way, energy flows in perfect harmony and balance, returning to a natural and healthy flow.
