Lampião

The entities known as Lampião represent a subline within the lineage of the Baianos. It tends to come in specific cleaning and disobsession jobs. This line is not usually called for consultations within umbanda. It is a relatively new line that works within the energies of the Iansã orixá. Its color can be yellow and red and its place of offering can be in open fields and quarries.

The purpose of this line is to help within the work, bringing self-confidence and mental strengthening to the medium and the consultant. It is worth mentioning that this line of cangaceiro does not necessarily aggregate those members of bands such as Lampião, the spirits that manifest themselves in this line, they do so by affinity with the cangaço, so they are representatives of that region.
